Abstract
Writing system in Indus Valley civilization is very ancient. Onwards the Signs were declared the foundation of Sindhi language. Such writing signs from other civilizations are being found. These signs bear a resemblance to Mohen-jo- Daro and Harappan civilizations. These signs are witnessed that both ancient civilizations had socio-cultural relations. Indus script is a marvelous, beautiful and ancient humann’s knowledge based ability; this is a beautiful and wonderful example of its time. Scripts were invented through such writings, Signs were very helpful for the development of script. And there is a major role of signs in the sound mechanism. After many centuries even today when wonders of science can be seen; there are some languages and their script development is still in process. There are so many languages which have no Roman and English alphabets but there are ancient signs for instance seals. Brahmi and Sindhi writing signs are also magnificent languages of their times. Such signs are engraved on the tablets which were found from Indus civilization. In this paper the sound writings and writing of Mohen-jo-Daro signs and sound writing would be analysed. How these signs bear a resemblance to each other would be discussed in the paper.
