Abstract

The tradition of children’s stories is more cultural than entertainment. The concept of children’s Literature is full Significant and unique ideas.

It is seen in different cultures of the world, the literature for children deals in moral values, Social responsibilities, difference between good and wrong doings.

Same time, the said Literature is found beyond the boundaries of various countries, their culture, traditions and social/moral values and Language barriers. Even in the classical main stories are the same by their central ideas. These stories and such other pieces of art are same by their theme and trend.

Here, a question arises, that the children’s Literature have new themes, forms, trends, ideas, concepts are not?

Before clarifying this question, we must look at the source of such stories, related to Indus civilization. Here the stories, based on good sayings and moral values have had been told by grandmothers, in a home, village or town respectively.

Partly the subjects are different, but when we conclude the result, it seems likely same. The difference of geography, language and the time what have been left behind.
