Vol. 16 No. 2nd (2023)Sindhi Language Authority has been working since 1991 as an autonomous institution for the purpose of learning, development and use of Sindhi language.
In addition to research books in Sindhi language, the institution also publishes a six-monthly research journal "Sindhi Language". The research journal was first published in 1994, and continued to be published intermittently due to administrative changes. This journal has been published regularly since 2008.
Since 2016, this journal is being published according to the standards set by the Higher Education Commission, so that academic research in Sindhi language can be supported. Earlier in April 2020, this journal was approved by Higher Education Commission in Z category. From 2021, 'Sindhi Language' journal is recognized in Y category.
The current chairman of the institution, Dr. Ishaq Samejo is the editor and the Secretary Dr. Ahsan Danish is the Joint Editor of this journal, who have formulated a clear policy to make this journal more standardized. As a sub-editor Shaukat Chachar handles the work of this section.
