Author Guidelines

Guidelines for Authors.

Research articles must adhere to established academic research principles.

  • Citation Style: References should follow either MLA or APA formatting standards.
  • Subject Matter: Articles should focus on original and unexplored topics. Priority for publication will be given to research concerning the Sindhi language, linguistics, grammar, and the Indus script.
  • Title Page: The first page must include the article title, the author's name, professional affiliation/identity, complete postal address, email, and phone number.
  • Abstract & Keywords: The second page must feature an abstract of 200 to 250 words. This abstract must include at least five relevant Keywords, which should be clearly highlighted in bold.
  • Originality: Submitted work must be the author's original writing. The text must not be plagiarized in any form. Furthermore, the article must not have been previously published in another journal, nor should it be under consideration elsewhere.
  • Data Attribution: All data, figures, or content sourced from books, journals, newspapers, or websites must be properly cited.
  • Ethical Compliance: In cases of confirmed plagiarism or dual publication (submitting the same article to two different platforms), the institution reserves the right to blacklist or impose a ban on the author.
  • Submission: Articles should be emailed to the journal’s official address: sindhiboli@sindhila.edu.pk.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
