This paper highlights that by employing the styles of modernism and existentialism his narratives often incorporate the modern technique of stream of consciousness. His stories feature characters deeply connected to the past and reflect his profound awareness of the historical richness within his soul. Notably, in his short stories, he opts for the techniques and formats of modernism and comes out of conventional short story traditions. In this paper, I demonstrate that the central theme in Madad Ali`s short story writing is existentialism.
