The Sindhi language is one of the ancient languages of the world. Its historical significance and its role as a language of literature and education are widely recognized among its speakers in Sindh, Pakistan, and in different countries around the world. It is worth mentioning that foreign scholars such as Wathan, Stack, Estric, Leech, Burton, Trump, Goldsmid, Grierson, and others have studied the Sindhi language and worked on its linguistic patterns and grammatical structure. Similarly, renowned Sindhi scholars such as Akhund Abdul Raheem Wafa, Mirza Qaleech Beg, Hakeem Fateh Mohammad Shewani, Alama I, I Qazi Dr. Nabi Bux Khan Balouch, Mohammad Ibrahim Joyo, Dr. Ghulam Ali Allama Khan Balouch, Mohammed Ibrahim Joyo, Dr. Ghulam Ali Alana, and Barkat Balouch have also devoted their attention to the examination of Sindhi linguistic and grammatical patterns in their research works. This paper argues that Bhero Mal Maher Chand Advani is one of the foremost language scholars among those mentioned above. It demonstrates that Bhero Mal Maher Chand Advani has focused on holistic aspects of linguistics that hold global importance in linguistic research. The paper discusses how various scholars have focused on the Sindhi language, but the contribution of Bhero Mal Mehar Chand Advani has been remarkable both linguistically and in terms of social consciousness toward the language.
