The most famous fiction author of the Modern age is Rasool Memon. He was a novelist and poet in addition to being known for his short stories. He has written sixteen short story collections, nine of which have been published and the other six are available online as digital editions on https://books.sindhsalamat.com. He started his literary journey in 1977 with the short story writing. His first book of short stories was “Amun Jy Nalay - dedicated to peace”. He was a versatile author whose stories covered scientific, psychological, philosophical, Metaphysical, social, and historical topics. He was a versatile author whose stories covered scientific, psychological, philosophical, Metaphysical, social, and historical topics.He began his literary career in 1977 by penning his first collection of short stories titled "Amun Jy Nalay – In the name of peace." In this research paper, I analyze his five short stories based on scientific and psychological philosophy. The story “Golden Tooth” focuses hemophilia disease whereas “Genome” story discusses his critical understanding of human evolution. On the socio-cultural nuances, his stories particularly “the freedom of donkey” highlights the complexities of human slavery and the lived experiences of a slave. "Broken wings falcon” story is based on erotomania which presented the vivid record of an unmarried female and her psychological disorder.
Rasool Memon had tremendous critical thinking capability about life and spiritual themes. He articulated his philosophical opinions in his writings. He was more of a thinker than a fictional writer. His stories are his viewpoints.
