A Brief Review of Sindhi Poetry for children

IN every society of the world, along with the physical upbringing of children, their mental training is also taken special care. In order to consider children’s mental development and training, special attention is paid to creation of literature in each Language and special efforts are taken for it’s promotion and improvement.
All nations in the world, who have realized the importance of children’s Literature have paid attention to its development. The Literature of other Language have also become rich and wide. Although children’s Literature seems simple in terms of it’s content, but its importance is never less than other Literature, because children’s Literature plays a big role in developing their personality.
The beginning of children’s Literature in Sindhi was from the period of British. The Series of children’s books and writings in Sindhi are found sufficiently, and it continues even today in different ways, including text books, translations and creation.
Sindhi poets also played an important role in meeting the lack of children’s literature. In this respect daily newspapers, monthly magazines, such institutions along with social organizations also played their role, particularly in poetry. In this overview, the literary work, specially in Children’s poetry is focussed in this article.
