Comparative study of thought content between the Peotry of Shah Inayat & Shah Latif

Shah Inayat and shahAbdul Latif were contemporary poets of Kalhora period. Shah Inayat was the founder of classical poetry. He was first poet who had a complete “Resalo”.
Shah latif was inspired by him to great extent. He used to meet him to share his views and sufferings and shah Inayat used to give him omen. Their meetings bear a great literary importance in sindhi literature which is quoted in the form of poetry by different scholars. Their poetic conversation had a great wisdom.
This research paper provides a brief comparative study and discussion the art and philosophy of both the poets, which results a lot of similarities and harmony in its content and thought.
Both the poets have Sindh’s original classical and mystical approach, beside this both are aesthetic poets; their poetry reflects natural phenomena of Sindh, its history, traditions, moral values, culture, humanistic approach and psychology. Research shows that mood and thought of their poetry is progressive and secular. Many couplets are given as reference for this purpose.
Their whole poetry consists on the “bait” and “waie” genre whereas Classification of poetry is consisted on different “surs”. In fact the names of surs keep resemblance.
